Munnar & Thekkady Escape

Have the morning breakfast at the hotel enjoying the scenic beauty of nature away from the maddening crowds. Later we go on for a sightseeing tour of Munnar where today we will see Mattupetty Lake and Dam, Echo Point, Blossom Garden & Elephant Park. Later afternoon, visit Eravikulam National Park ( home to rare mountain goat or Nilgiri Thar) or Tata Tea Museum and well organized tea gardens, etc. Later return back on time to the hotel and overnight stay.

After the Breakfast Checkout the Hotel, drive for Thekkady. Arrive Thekkady and transfer to hotel. The town also houses one of world’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries. Lying at an altitude of 700-1900m above sea level, Periyar has a cool and comfortable climate. • Activity Camp Visit o Enjoy an Elephant ride through a small spice plantation o Kalaripayattu – an ancient South Indian martial art and one of the oldest fighting systems in existence today. Overnight at the hotel.

Enjoy a lazy morning in the hotel. After breakfast, proceed for the boating at Periyar Tiger Reserve. Later proceed to Cochin by road and drop off at Airport / Railway Station for your onwards journey.
